From Lens to Courrières

A quiet branch away from the Grand Canal, the Souchez canal, commonly known as the Lens canal, stops at the outskirts of Lens, near the Noyelles rolling mill, which is still in operation. A green corridor was laid out in 2003, along the towpath.
