From Frouard to Strasbourg

This canal is appreciated by tourist sailors. It crosses the regional nature park of Lorraine, the Vosges and the plain of Alsace. Its route, with numerous civil-engineering structures, is really spectacular: It contains the highest lock in the Freycinet network, Réchicourt, and the inclined plane of Arzviller – unique in Europe – where the boats are hoisted along the cliff.
