From Rouen to la Mer

The Seine Maritime, where the Paris basin opens out to the sea, is an important commercial transit highway, frequented by ships of all tonnages. There are few bridges after Rouen on the Seine, other than those of Brotonne, Tancarville and Normandie. Ferries make up for this absence and help to enliven the river. They require great care by the navigator.
