Great connecting highway between the basins of Paris and the North. Although highly commercial, this artery is nevertheless provided with attractive halts for recreational sailors. At the confluence with the Seine, Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, the river-traffic capital, is worth a stop, if only to visit its museum.
