From Souil Maillezais to Maillé

Just before reaching the Sèvre, the Autize divides into two arms, to form a sort of delta. In the east, is the Vieille Autize, with a lateral canal. In the west is the Jeune Autize, channelled and navigable over 8.5 km as far as the Château-Vert dam.
